On November 27 the organisations Veteran Hub, the human rights centre for service members Pryntsyp, Yurydychna Sotnia and Prostir Mozhlyvostei presented concepts of state policy on veterans, women veterans and their families. The first version of the concept was presented in October 2023. Over two years the concept on veterans was revised, and the concept on the families of veterans and women veterans was created from scratch. As the minister for veterans affairs of Ukraine, Nataliia Kalmykova, emphasised during the presentation, the main task of the state when veterans return to civilian life is to create conditions in which they can find their own pace and access to services, build a career and move forward. The task of the Institute of Veterans “Architecture of Resilience” is to teach how to build the future. This is a comprehensive approach whose parts are rehabilitation, leisure, education and training, employment and entrepreneurship. At the presentation “How to build a state [for] veterans and their families” the Institute of Veterans was represented by deputy head Yevhen Komarov.
