November 3-4, the business festival “Mriia hoteliara”

The team of the Institute of Veterans “Architecture of Resilience” of KNUBA – head Artem Honcharenko and deputy head Yevhen Komarov took part in the business festival “Mriia hoteliara-2025”. The event, organised by VanGroupworkshop, brought together more than 250 professionals: founders and managers of hotels, restaurants and travel agencies, investors, experts in service, design, marketing, HR and others. Fifteen leading speakers talked, among other things, about which typical costs “eat up” a hotel's profit. About experience during the war and about how to create a sense of safety, care and stability. They shared advice on organising the work of small hotels. There was also a panel discussion on one of the most pressing topics for Ukraine today – the employment of veterans. It was attended by the head of the Institute of Veterans, Artem Honcharenko, by the lawyer, volunteer and deputy head of the Institute of Veterans, Yevhen Komarov, by Serhii Velychanskyi – a veteran and retired officer, by Alona Skorzova – an expert at the Office of the Ombudsman for the rights of war veterans, and by the doctor of legal sciences Oleh Oliinyk. The discussion was moderated by the president of the Association of Hotels and Resorts of Ukraine (UHRA), Iryna Sidletska. The participants said that the labour market in Ukraine is now changing very fast and that it is important to shape a new culture of work – inclusive, oriented towards humanity and development. And to know how to combine the unique leadership experience of veterans with that of the young generation of professionals.
