Kyiv, April 2026

The public organization “Vidchui” announces the start of enrollment for the annual inclusive camp “Vidchui Lito 2026”. The initiative is carried out with financial support from UGB EKO BANK KRAINY (Ukrgasbank) and aims to create a safe space for recovery, development and socialization of teenagers.

The camp brings together teenagers aged 11 to 18, including children with hearing impairments and those who have experienced trauma because of the war. The program focuses on emotional recovery, overcoming communication barriers and building a supportive environment.

This year the camp keeps its ecological focus. It is not only about interaction with nature, but also about the “ecology” of relationships — attentiveness to oneself, to others and to the world around. Participants will be able to develop communication skills, discover their own talents and build trust through a shared experience.

The camp program includes:

  • overcoming barriers in communication;
  • psychological relief and emotional recovery;
  • development of social skills;
  • support and interaction in an inclusive environment.

Participants will be organized into three groups:

  1. Teenagers with hearing impairment who communicate in sign language.
  2. Teenagers with hearing impairment who do not use sign language.
  3. Teenagers affected by the war (including those who survived occupation, deportation, losses, or injuries).

Organizational details:

  • Dates: June 25 – July 5, 2026 (departure days — 24.06 and 06.07).
  • Location: Zakarpattia Oblast (details will be shared after selection).
  • Transfer: organized rail transport on the Kyiv — Mukachevo — Kyiv route with the possibility of boarding at intermediate stations.

Participation in the camp is free of charge — the NGO “Vidchui”, together with partners, covers the costs of accommodation, meals, and the program.

How to join:
To participate, you need to fill out a questionnaire and pass the selection process.

The “Vidchui Lito” camp is a space where teenagers can recover, make friends, and feel supported. The initiative aims to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be heard and to feel important.
