Ministry of Education and Science awards first monthly stipends to researchers: in Poltava region 52 applicants will receive UAH 10,000 each

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has awarded the first stipends to researchers based on the results of the ranking in the National Researchers System of Ukraine: in Poltava region, 52 scientists have already been selected. From October 2026 to September 2028 they will receive UAH 10,000 per month at their main place of work.

In total, the National Researchers System provides for 2,650 stipends. For the remaining applicants, additional review of materials and confirmation of the necessary documents continues, in particular on work in a scientific or scientific-pedagogical position.

Absence from the first-wave list does not mean refusal. After compliance with the requirements is confirmed and the necessary procedures are completed, stipends will be awarded in subsequent waves by separate orders of the Ministry.

The National Researchers System supports scientists on the basis of confirmed results of their work: publications, grants, patents, international cooperation and other scientific achievements.

The ranking results and information on the award of stipends have already been published in the open dashboard of the National Researchers System.
