Volodymyr Zabela at SBC Summit Ukraine Lviv spoke about MHP sports projects supporting veterans

Director of the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation Volodymyr Zabela took part in SBC Summit Ukraine Lviv, a conference on sports marketing and business. During the event he spoke about the foundation’s projects aimed at supporting and rehabilitating Ukrainian defenders.

For Zabela, sport is an important part of life, so the development of sports initiatives within the foundation is especially meaningful to him.

“For as long as I can remember, sport has always been in my life. Boxing, running, football, cycling, the gym. That is why the sports projects in our MHP-Hromadi mean a lot to me. Especially when it comes to the recovery of our defenders,” Volodymyr Zabela said.

One of the areas of this work is the MHP Run4Victory charity runs. According to Zabela, this year the project brought together thousands of people and helped raise funds for prosthetics for veterans.

“Our charity runs brought together more than 9,000 people and made it possible to raise UAH 6+ million for veterans’ prosthetics,” the foundation’s director shared.

Another important area is the “Restored” project, within which the foundation supports medical institutions in the regions. Separately, the speaker mentioned support for adaptive sport and competitions that create opportunities for veterans and service members.

Speaking about the purpose of these initiatives, the director of the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation stressed the importance of supporting people who defended Ukraine and helping them return to active life.

“I really want our guys and girls to return to active life and feel our support. And in this I am always ready to lend my shoulder.”
